M-TEC's optical fibres are produced by TAIHAN, using the all synthetic VAD (Vapour Axial Deposition) process, by simultaneous processing of the germanium doped silica core and pure silica cladding. This brings about excellent geometrical, mechanical and optical characteristics with attenuation approaching the theoretical minimum. A dual acrylate protective coating is applied over the glass to provide the maximum fibre lifetime.

FEATURES
Conspicuous lower attenuation
Superior bending performance
Mechanically strippable coating
Excellent geometric properties for low splicing loss
Transmission capacity at 1310nm and 1550nm
